"The Heckmans are an extremely nice family who lost everything they have owned and loved in a terrible house fire," the GoFundMe page reads. "Nothing can bring back all the sentimental items and necessities they have lost in that house but with everyones help we can help them have a fresh new start."The fundraiser started on Monday has already raised nearly half of its $5,000 goal.
