Hilltop Bagel Cafe Raises Awareness For RSD/CRPS
For the the 2nd Year Rich, Owner of Hilltop Bagel Cafe, and his staff have participated in Color The World Orange Day.
When Rich first learned about RSD CRPS, he was at Brookhaven Town Hall receiving an award for his community involvement. Brookhaven Town was issuing a proclamation to designate the First Monday in November a day of awareness. He stepped up that night in 2017 to offer to help raise awareness and has participated in Color The World Orange Day which takes place the first Monday in November by hanging signs, posting to Facebook, and selling orange bagels. His entire staff dons orange t-shirts! One new customer, who suffers from RSD/CRPS, brought in by the awareness campaign said, "They are really good bagels."
Hilltop Bagel Cafe also has some of the most creative flavors of cream cheese I have ever seen anywhere! Some of my favorites are rainbow cookie, cookies and cream, and key lime pie. Yesterday, he also had a spicy cream cheese with hot peppers! Rich posts a flavor of the week on his Facebook page. Hilltop Bagel Cafe is not just bagels. Cafe in the name says it all! They have an oatmeal bar, delicious sandwiches, and a fabulous selection of choices for their chopped salads.
