HOLBROOK, NY — Harry Potter only turns 39 once, and the Sachem Library made sure the July 31, birthday date didn't pass without fanfare.

About 50 teens from the local community paid homage Wednesday to the wizarding legend — fifteen of which participated in Quidditch corn hole. Librarians covered traditional cornhole openings with Quidditch hoops.

The whole event was five hours long, and also featured such activities as, Harry Potter themed trivia, mandrakes-making, which is a magical plant from the famous fantasy world, and additional prizes throughout the day, according to the Sachem Library.
