Home Run Burger Officially Opens

Holbrook gets its very own burger joint.

Home Run Burger located on Main Street in Holbrook opened on March 29, and already the restaurant is a new local favorite.

On a random weekday you can find plenty of people hanging out enjoying their meal at one of the many umbrella covered tables outside.  The inside of the restaurant is bright and cheery - mainly decorated in red, white and blue.

There are two large menus hanging on the walls behind the cash registers, while another wall is covered with framed photographs of baseball players from the Yankees, Mets and Brooklyn Dodgers.  There is about 10 bar stools facing the window, but other than that, seating is limited to the tables outside.

The cashiers, if not swamped, are very prompt to asking if you need service. The menu has your typical burger choices: burgers (available as single, double or triple, with or without cheese), fries, cheese fries, hot dogs, chili dogs, Philly cheesesteaks, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, chicken sliders and of course - milk shakes.

For the milk shakes lovers you're in luck, they come in chocolate, vanilla, coffee, banana, strawberry and cherry.  The best part about the menu is the pricing ... for a single cheeseburger and fries with tax it comes to $3.35.  In fact, nothing on the menu is over $5 except for the Philly cheesesteak which runs $5.49.

Mike Tramuto, the owner of the facility, declined to speak to Sachem Patch for this story.

Sachem Patch will be following the progress of Home Run burger in the coming months. Here's hoping they hit it out of the park!
