Lake Ronkonkoma Civic Organization scholarship

The Lake Ronkonkoma Civic Organization, is pleased to announce we are offering a $500 scholarship to any January 2014 or June, 2014 graduating senior who intends to go on to college and lives within the Lake Ronkonkoma Civic Organization boundaries (see webpage). The application and activities verification packet can be picked up in the Sachem North High School Guidance Office or the Teen Desk at Sachem Public Library. A minimum 500-word essay is required, with a maximum of 600 words. The essay is entitled “HOW I HAVE MADE A CONTRIBUTION TO MY COMMUNITY“.   The completed packet and essay must be mailed to the address on the application by April 24, 2014.
