Library Goes on Poetic Journey

Long Island native displays dramatized reading of poems.

The film One Man's Mythology: a poetic contemplative journey was shown Tuesday afternoon at the Sachem Public Library.

Written and performed by Long Island writer Mankh (Walter E. Harris III), this dramatized reading of 10 poems is portrayed on film with a Cinéma vérité style, according to a release from the library.

Poetic text was be presented on screen while a lush soundscape of contemplative music by renowned violinist/composer Anna Schaad provided a complimentary background.
