LINDSAY III CALLS HOLBROOK CLEAN-UP A HUGE SUCCESS

(Holbrook, NY)-  Semiannually, the Holbrook Beautification Committee partners with the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce and most recently, Legislator Bill Lindsay III to clean-up Holbrook’s main roads and sidewalks. On May 3rd, over 150 local athletes, boy scouts, girl scouts, church groups, business owners, and residents came out to Seneca Middle School on a beautiful Saturday morning to give back to their community by participating in the Holbrook Clean-Up.  Volunteers were able to collect more than 250 bags of litter and 400 recyclable bottles throughout Holbrook and Holtsville.

“It’s extremely encouraging to see how eager our young people are to give back to our communities,” said Legis. Lindsay III. “Every year, our local residents and business leaders do a tremendous job setting up this event, and it was an absolute pleasure to continue this tradition.”
