Suspect Busts Suffolk Store's Window, Swipes $3K: Police
The break-in took place on Ocean Avenue at around 1:20 a.m. on Nov. 6, Suffolk police said. Have you seen him?
RONKOKOMA, NY — A suspect broke into a Ronkonkoma store using a pitchfork and then made off with the cash register drawer containing $3,000 earlier this month, Suffolk police said.
He used the pitchfork to break the front glass door of Barcode Smoke Shop on Ocean Avenue on Nov. 6 at around 1:20 a.m., police said, adding that he then took the cash register drawer, then ran out the back door.
He was seen getting out of what appeared to be an older model Dodge Charger before the burglary, police said.

The suspect was wearing dark-colored clothing, including a hoodie in the surveillance video images released by police.

The crime has been classified burglary, according to the crime alert from police.
Suffolk's Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
