Suffolk Police have released details on a homicide investigation in Farmingville.
Suffolk Police have released details on a homicide investigation in Farmingville.
According to police, officers responded to 8 Iroquois Ave. at about 8:25 p.m. after a friend went to the home to check on the welfare of Wayne Booker and discovered that Booker had been shot.
Booker, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

"We do believe foul play," Suffolk County Det. Lt. Kevin Beyrer told NBC New York.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
