The Memory Cafe is geared towards couples who have become socially isolated due to one spouse having dementia. The Memory Cafe gives them a chance to socialize in a safe and judgment free environment where they can meet others facing similar challenges. Individuals with dementia may attend with another family member (if not a spouse). The Memory Cafe will offer a variety of entertainment and/or activities as well as time to socialize with others over dessert.
