Patchogue Holbrook Road Closed Northbound at the LIE Starting Saturday
Get ready for some traffic nightmares in Holbrook this winter.
Patchogue Holbrook Road will be closed northbound at the Long Island Expressway beginning on Saturday, Nov. 19 as a seemingly never-ending bridge rehabilitation project continues.
Traffic will be detoured east to Holbrook Road. The northbound lanes on the bridge are expected to remain closed until the spring.
The project was originally slated for completion in May 2016, but the "estimated substantial completion date" is now March 28, 2017.
