Here are the top three stories in Sachem today:
- A pedestrian was killed in a Ronkonkoma hit-and-run Monday night. "Robert Twiford, 61, of Melville, was lying in the roadway of the Long Island Expressway Exit 60E off-ramp when he was struck by at least one vehicle, which then drove away, at 8 p.m., police said." It's unclear at this time why he was lying in the road, but we will keep you updated on any developments or statements made from police. (Sachem Patch)
- Check out five new homes for sale in the Town of Brookhaven. These are the freshest homes to hit the market and we have the scoop on each listing. Click the link to see photos and more information on the homes. For all things real estate, you can head to the Patch Real Estate section. (Sachem Patch)
- Where do you go for the best pizza? Pizza is a landmark on Long Island and has long been a topic of debate on where the best spots are. We want to know from readers what your opinion is on the best pizza joint in the Sachem area. Let us know in the comments! (Patch)
