
A man armed with a gun robbed the Ronkonkoma Subway Wednesday night, police said.
The incident occurred at about 9:40 p.m. at the restaurant located at 600-7 Portion Road.
Police say a man entered the restaurant, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. An employee complied and the man fled the store with cash in an unknown direction. No one was injured. No arrests have been made.

The restaurant has been targeted by robbers in the past. It was robbed twice within a week in December 2013 and January 2014. Two Medford residents were later arrested and charged in those robberies and more than a dozen others across the county.
