Police: Holbrook Man Among Pair Arrested After Robbing W. Babylon Bank

Men were armed with guns when they robbed TD Bank Thursday night, police say.

Two men armed with guns robbed a West Babylon bank Thursday night, but they were arrested a short time later, police said.

According to police, Demitrious Miller, 51, of Roosevelt, and Patrick Flynn, 28, of Holbrook, were wearing masks and displayed guns after they entered the TD Bank, located at 701 West Montauk Highway, at 8 p.m.

One of the men approached a teller and demanded cash from the drawer, police said. The teller complied and the two men fled, police said.

An investigation by the Pattern Crime Unit led detectives to initiate a traffic stop shortly after the robbery at the Long Island Rail Road station in Ronkonkoma, but the vehicle fled, police said.

At about 9 p.m., the vehicle and one of the men were located at 835 Broadway Avenue in Holbrook, police said. The second alleged robbed was arrested nearby, police said.

Miller and Flynn are each charged with one count of first degree robbery. They were scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.

An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Pattern Crime Unit to identify additional individuals possibly involved in the bank robbery, police said.
