Police: Man Drove With 3-Year-Old While on Drugs
Middle Island man faces a felony DWI charge following arrest early Sunday, police say.
A Middle Island man was high on drugs and driving with a 3-year-old in his car early Sunday morning on the Long Island Expressway in Medford, police said.
According to police, Shea McClave, 25, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet eastbound on the LIE near exit 65 when he was pulled over for failing to maintain his lane at about 1:50 a.m. The 3-year-old daughter of McGlave's girlfriend was a passenger in the car, police said.

Police determined McClave was under the influence of drugs and he was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, aggravated DWI with a child 15 years old or younger–a felony under Leandra’s Law–and endangering the welfare of a child.
McClave is due to be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip.
