HOLBROOK, NY — Suffolk police detectives have released a video of a hit-and-run crash that left a Holbrook man dead last month in hopes it will help them develop some leads in the case.

Alan Lepre was walking home from work when he was struck by a white Jeep Grand Cherokee, model 2016 or newer, while crossing Veterans Memorial Highway at Grundy Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 19, police said. Lepre, 59, of Holbrook, was pronounced dead at the scene.
