Reader Post of The Week: Sachem Cyclone 13U Travel Baseball Team Wins Glynn Kenny Fall Classic Tournament

The 13u Sachem Cyclones participated in the annual Glynn Kenny Fall classic tournament hosted by Bethpage.

The Cyclones faced teams from Nassau County hailing from Glen Head, Plainedge and Bethpage. The Cyclones won 3 games and lost 2 games in pool play round. They were set up as #2 seed going into the semi final found. They faced the NS Thunder and dominated both offensively and defensive routing the NS Thunder 14-0 victory setting up a crucial rematch against the #1 seed the Bethpage Eagles.

The Championship game yesterday was a tight game fought to the last out. Defensively both teams played great . But only one team was flawless and that was the Sachem Cyclones who won a nail biter 1-0 and were crowned champions. I am very proud of our boys. They represent the Sachem Community with a lot of dignity and class. I expect more good things from our Cyclones in years to come. GO CYCLONES
