Although diabetes is a very serious condition, and should be treated as such, there are a few methods of treating and coping with the illness which don’t always spell a lifetime of worry, concern, expenses and various different physical procedures on a daily basis.
Leading Research on Reversing Diabetes – Type 2 Reversed
Although it will not be the case for all patients, some types and degrees of diabetes can actually be reversed, or placed in a sort of remission state with hard work and some lifestyle alterations – this applies to Type 2 diabetes only, however (although, some cases of Type 1 have shown an increase in natural production of insulin after following some of the steps below).

Information regarding this process is fairly difficult to source, and even then, difficult to prove. Arguably, this is due to the financial gain that big pharmaceutical companies have over the market; by keeping their customers in the dark in regard to other treatments and instilling fear, to keep purchases coming.
That being said, this isn’t an open invitation to throw medication out the window and be done with it. Those suffering from diabetes do need these treatments, it’s just a question of whether that need can be filled by something else instead.
Generally speaking, if you suffer from Type 2 diabetes – losing weight can drastically help you control your blood sugar levels. Research shows that by losing around 5-10% of your body weight and working up to around three hours of exercise per week can slow the damage of diabetes down and, in some cases, eradicate the need for medication altogether.
Furthermore, simple actions such as upping the amount of magnesium in your diet (a lack of which can elicit some of the symptoms synonymous with diabetes) and making sure you get enough sunlight or vitamin D can be active steps towards combatting the condition.
Where do I turn to for help with reversing it?
There are a handful of sources which can give some information on how to reverse diabetes; however, perhaps the most informative source would be Newcastle University’s Research Paper, which actively discusses the issue head on.
The website observes that the medications and treatment courses that thousands of Americans find themselves on help only to keep the ‘status quo’ level, in the body, but does nothing to actually combat, reverse or tackle the condition itself.
The website offers a program to customers, called Overcome Your Diabetes Today, designed by Health and Nutrition Strategist Matt Traverso. This strategy has had success with cases all across the nation (and now extending to the United Kingdom), with many of them showing positive results within as little as three weeks or less.
The unique selling point of this program, as an alternative to longstanding medication or insulin injections is that it is based on an all-natural solution, devoid of pumping your body full of chemicals or compounds.
However, a brief note: make sure to do some thorough, prior research on your own specific condition and how it is affecting your body, before abandoning medication. Although, with Matt Traverso’s program being completely all natural, there’s no reason to say you can’t try it for yourself whilst still behind the safety net of your normal treatment cycle.
