Ronkonkoma Irish Dance Group Headed to Chicago

Next week the Mulvihill-Lynch Irish Dance school in Ronkonkoma-based will head to Chicago to compete in the 2012 North American National Irish Dance Championships. 

Twenty-nine local dancers, ranging in age from eight to 24, will represent Long Island and the Mid-Atlantic Irish Dance region at this event. The competition is expected to host over 4,000 dancers from all over the globe.

The Mulvihill-Lynch school has three locations in Suffolk County; its main location is on Hawkins Avenue in Lake Ronkonkoma.
