  1. Holbrook staple The Aegean Italian & Greek Pizzeria set to close next week. The pizzeria has been in business for over 50 years and has been a pillar of the community. The restaurant posted on social media Monday night saying, "We live in extraordinary times, which have made it impossible for us to keep Aegean's doors open and keep providing the same high quality of serving that you became familiar with over the last five decades."   2. ICYMI: NYPD officer charged in road rage incident that took place in Selden on Saturday. Douglas Debonet, 32, broke a motorist's side view mirror then waved a gun at the victim's family at their home later in the day. He was arrested and suspended without pay by the NYPD. Debonet was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree menacing, both misdemeanors, police said. (Sachem Patch)
  3. Heat and humidity return for the weekend. Expect warm temperatures in the high 80s with the humidity near 80 percent all weekend. Friday night brings rain early, but the rest of the weekend the sun will be shining. (Weather.com)
