- Police are looking for man who stole $325 in cigarettes from the BP gas in Lake Ronkonkoma. On Feb 28 a man broke a window and went inside the gas station, swiping the cigarettes a little after 3 a.m. Suffolk's Crime Stoppers (1-800-221-TIPS) is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. - March 4 Suffolk arrest report. Take a look at the most recent arrests in the area with Suffolk County's March 4 arrest report. Remember to always lock your car and home doors and windows as theft are up in 2022. If you have any information regarding a crime, you can call Suffolk County Crimestoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. - ICYMI: Take a look at the weather forecast for this weekend. As we head into the first weekend of March, the high temperatures will nearly double from Friday to Sunday. Friday is much colder with highs in the low 30s, but Sunday will bring near record high temperatures with possible rain early in the day. Overall, expect a warmer weekend, with rain Sunday morning.
