- Firefighters battle brush fire Tuesday in Brookhaven. The fire closed all lanes on Sunrise Highway at exit 57 and as of Tuesday night 6 acres have burned. 100 firefighters responded from 14 departments to get the blaze under control. (Sachem Patch)
