- Climate advocates to rally outside Brookhaven Town Hall today. The Climate Action Council has a hearing at 4 p.m. to examine the Draft Scoping Plan for the state's blueprint to improve the environment, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act. Advocates will rally at 3 p.m. (Sachem Patch)
- Man breaks into Centereach home and leaves on bicycle with over $300 in stolen jewelry. The burglary happened on March 23 between 12 and 9 p.m. at a home on Holbrook Rd. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Sachem Patch)
- Former Sachem Lax player Hailey Rhatigan excelling in college at Mercer. Rhatigan is leading Mercer to their best start since 2017. She ranks fourth nationally in goals per game, fifth nationally in points per game and just became the second player in the program's history to reach 200 career points. "I've been working towards getting to a level like this all my life," Rhatigan said. (USA Lacrosse Magazine)
