  1. Sachem East senior Ciara Torres has her artwork selected for Juried Art Show. Torres had her painting "Still-life in Tempura" selected into the Juried Art Show at The Atelier at Flowerfield. She made the painting in Ms. DelVallez's Painting and Drawing 1 class. "The art event provides art students with an opportunity to build their portfolio, as well as promotion and exposure of their works in The Atelier's exhibition hall for a four-week period. The juried show also provides the winners with a scholarship to one free class and an Atelier one-year membership."(Press Release Desk)
  2. ICYMI: Brookhaven Town joins Long Island Cares Pet Food Drive. The Town of Brookhaven will be joining the pet food drive, which takes place from March 21 to April 22.
