- Sachem School District budget passes. The budget passed by an overwhelming 3,148 votes yes to 1,590 votes no. Alex Piccirillo, Laura Slattery, Meredith Volpe, and Stephanie Volpe were all elected to the Board of Education. (Facebook)
- ICYMI: Police searching for suspect who stole $2,000 from Lake Grove gas station in March. The burglar broke the window at Gulf Gas on Middle Country Rd. on March 5 and stole 20 packs of Newport cigarettes and $2,000 in cash. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Patch)
- FLIP Circus coming to Smith Haven Mall. The circus will return to Smith Haven Mall for a week-and-a-half starting on Friday. Tickets are $40 for adults and $25 for children. The circus will highlight the American circus tradition. (Patch)
