  1. Two voting maps holding up Suffolk Reapportionment Commission voting. "The commission, which is supposed to be bipartisan, is stalled along party lines as it draws up the county's 18 legislative districts, with four GOP members supporting a map crafted by David Schaefer of the Schenectady-based Skyline Consulting and four Democrats supporting a map they commissioned by Democratic consultant Keith Davies," Newsday reported.
