- The Bountiful Company sells its Ronkonkoma location. The 110,770 square-foot building on Smithtown Avenue was bought by Venture One Real Estate of Rosemont, Illinois. The buying price was undisclosed, but the building traded for $16.2 million. (Sachem Patch)
- Police looking for hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian in July. A 36-year-old man was walking on Hillside Road on July 25 at 2 p.m., when he was struck by a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The driver fled and police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Sachem Patch)
