Sachem Lax Gear Turns Headlines

The Sachem North Flaming Arrows grabbed the attention of a national lacrosse magazine, which featured the team's redesigned helmets and gear on its website.

Inside Lacrosse, a Baltimore-based print and online outlet that covers the game at all levels, gave particular compliment to the new wrap-around logo on the team's helmet. The decal, executed by Headwrapz, features a Native American headress with a brown, white and tan colorway. The word "Sachem" is emblazoned on the back of the helmet near the base.

"Competing in the brutal Class A ranks of New York's Suffolk County (Section XI), Sachem has custom Brine King IV gloves, custom Under Armour uniforms and a bunch of custom Nike apparel," the article states.

Inside Lacrosse is doing a national tour of high school gear for such features. According to Sachem's communications director, the new look was paid for by the Sachem Lacrosse Booster Club.
