UPDATED: Suffolk County Police Locate Missing Holtsville Woman

HOLTSVILLE, NY — Suffolk County police have located a missing Holtsville woman on Thursday a day after the woman, who suffers from dementia was reported on Wednesday. Police reported on Wednesday night that Marta Martinez, 84, was last seen at her home at 65 Rudder Drive at around noon Wednesday. Police issued a Silver Alert for Martinez, who was believed to be in a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek which was last spotted around 3 p.m. According to police, the vehicle – which has a license plate number of JJM 7585 – was recognized by license plate readers in both Orient Point and Hampton Bays on Wednesday, but Martinez remained missing as of 10 p.m. on Wednesday night.
