Here are the top three stories today in Sachem:
- Woman, 45, critically injured in Farmingville crash. Gilma Liceth-Perez was driving a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on Leeds Boulevard, while making a left turn onto Portion Road, when the car was struck by a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe traveling westbound on Portion Road just before 2 p.m., according to police. She was taken to the hospital for critical injures, and three others were injured in the crash as well, with non-life-threatening injuries. (Sachem Patch)
