HarborFest 2026: A Weekend That Moves Through Sag Harbor

There are certain weekends that capture the spirit of a place. In Sag Harbor, HarborFest is one of them.

On September 19th and 20th, the village comes alive for two days of waterfront traditions, local flavor, music, makers and community — with plenty to discover along the way.

And perhaps the best way to experience HarborFest is simply to follow the waterfront.

Begin at Long Wharf, where the harbor becomes the backdrop for one of Sag Harbor's most anticipated weekends. Explore the food vendors, take in the activity along the wharf and find your place along the water to cheer on the iconic Whaleboat Races.

From there, make your way toward Marine Park, where the Arts & Crafts Fair brings together artists, makers and visitors for a weekend of browsing and discovery. Slow down, wander the booths and enjoy a part of HarborFest that has long made the weekend feel distinctly local.

Then follow the music to Steinbeck Park.

With live performances, food, drinks and views across the harbor, Steinbeck Park offers a place to gather, stay awhile and take in the rhythm of the weekend.

And there's plenty happening in between. The Clam Chowder Contest, Clam Shucking Contest, family activities, live entertainment and longtime HarborFest traditions bring a little something different to every corner of the celebration.
