On Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th, the Montauk Friends of Erin and Kiwanis Club of East Hampton are proud to present a family-friendly seafood event right in the Heart of Montauk. The Seafood Festival started over 10 years ago as a joint fundraiser to support both groups’ charitable interests here on the east end.
This year, over 14 different restaurants and vendors will be featuring some of their seaside favorite dishes…
Come and sample these signature dishes at reasonable prices: Lobster rolls, fish/ shrimp tacos, chowder, tuna sliders, crab cakes, ceviche, seafood bisque, Burgers &amp; Hot Dogs, Roasted Corn, French Fries, mussels, clams, oysters, shrimp, Tuna tartare sushi, seafood fried rice, Ice Cream Treats...
Along with your food, sip a cold beer from Montauk Brew, hard seltzers, cocktails from local businesses, wine, or soft drinks while enjoying Live Music each day from two East End favorites- Saturday: The Realm, and Sunday: The Holiday Ramblers
There will also be fun for the kids- games, tattoos, face painting, an ocean exploration table, shark tank, corn hole, as well as other family-friendly activities and games.
Come and experience what Montauk has always known-our seafood is the best! The event runs both days, noon to 5 p.m., on the green in the center of town, across the street from the Chamber of Commerce. $5 Admission- cash only. Please no dogs under the food tent

Led by Cindy, the class begins Monday, September 14, at 4 p.m. and will introduce young dancers to ballet basics:&nbsp;musicality, movement, balance, coordination and confidence, while helping them develop a lifelong love of dance.

The Studio by Hill Street in Southampton is starting its Fall Ballroom &amp; Latin program on Tuesday, September 15, with classes for children and teens ages 4–18.
Our instructors Val &amp; Neda make learning to dance fun, social and confidence-building. Kids will learn Ballroom and Latin dances while developing coordination, musicality, posture and most importantly having fun!
No previous dance experience is needed, and both boys and girls are very welcome.
🕓 Ages 4–6: Mini Ballroom — 4 PM 
🕔 Ages 7–10: Junior Stars — 5 PM 
🕕 Ages 11–18: Elite Teens — 6 PM

New Kids Ballroom & Latin Dance Semester Starts Tuesday, September 15

Give your child confidence that goes far beyond the dance floor. 💃🕺
This fall, The Studio by Hill Street in Southampton is welcoming children and teens ages 4–18 to a new semester of Ballroom &amp; Latin dance classes, beginning Tuesday, September 15.
Designed for complete beginners as well as young dancers who want to develop their skills, our classes combine great music, movement and fun with the opportunity to build confidence, coordination, posture, rhythm and social skills.
Children learn with our award-winning instructors Val &amp; Neda in an encouraging environment where the emphasis is on learning, progressing and genuinely enjoying dancing.
Classes are divided by age so every child can learn at the right level:

<li>Mini Ballroom | Ages 4–6 | 4:00 PM</li>
<li>Junior Stars | Ages 7–10 | 5:00 PM</li>
<li>Elite Teens | Ages 11–18 | 6:00 PM</li>
<li>Tuesdays &amp; Thursdays</li>
<li>No previous dance experience needed. Beginners are very welcome.</li>

The Jay Heritage Center in Rye, New York will celebrate America at 250 with a toast to Jay Medal honorees Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.
The Jay Medal for Service was created in 2012 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a selfless spirit of commitment to and engagement with their community mirroring the multifaceted contributions of John Jay and his descendants. These honorees have demonstrated through their life's work that our shared narratives as a country, complicated as they are, can be better illuminated through the highest caliber of ongoing scholarship and advocacy. Honorees are selected for their excellence in the fields of American history, environmental stewardship, social justice or civic engagement.
Joining the celebration will be Chief Judge of the State of New York and the New York Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian and philanthropist Elihu Rose who will present the awards at JHC's annual Soirée. Special guests will include David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman, and Beverly Gage.

The Jay Medal Soirée will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Jay Estate from 5:30-9:30pm. Cocktails, dinner, award ceremony and dancing. Cocktail Attire.
