Treating trauma through Shakespeare (news10.com) — Veterans in Saratoga Springs can soon join an eight‑week DE‑CRUIT course at Empire State University starting September 21, using Shakespeare to help process trauma and PTSD. Created by veteran Stephan Wolfert and backed by NYU research, the hybrid program pairs participants’ personal stories with Shakespeare passages to support emotional healing and long‑term resilience.
   

4. Saratoga 4-H Horse Program Benefits Youth, Families and Community (lancasterfarming.com) — Saratoga County’s 4‑H horse program is thriving in the shadow of Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, a major economic engine drawing about a million visitors a year. Local educators, alumni, and families describe how clinics, shows, and hands‑on horse care are building skills, careers, and multi‑generational connections for youth across the county.
