• Ulster Savings Bank's Phoenicia branch gets $10M state deposit (dailyfreeman.com) — State officials have approved a $10 million deposit into Ulster Savings Bank’s Phoenicia branch to expand banking access in Shandaken and Olive, with local State Senator Michelle Hinchey of Saugerties backing the move. The designation as a Banking Development District is meant to combat “banking deserts,” support small businesses, and keep more financial services available in these nearby Ulster County communities.
