For 15th Consecutive Year, Sayville Named a Top Community in Music

The Sayville School District was recently named one of 2025’s Best Communities for Music Education from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM). This is the 15th consecutive year Sayville has received the honor.

Sayville is one of just 935 school districts throughout the country to receive this distinction from NAMM. This award recognizes and celebrates outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education.

“It's an honor to be nationally recognized as one of the best communities for music education,” said Sayville School District music department chairperson Kerri VanBoxel. "This recognition is testament to the commitment of our wonderful music staff and the support of the community."
