She believes the solitude sparked the creativity and desire that would later drive her to tell her own stories.After dreaming of writing and publishing since childhood, Stefanie finally stopped waiting and took the leap - writing and self-publishing her first novel, The Smoke Tree, in 2019. She is passionate about supporting fellow authors and creating meaningful connections with readers through storytelling and shared experiences. Stefanie is now an award-winning author and lives on Long Island with her family and dog, Harley, and is currently working on her fourth book.Her books include: The Smoke Tree - A blindsided Tora is trying to hold her world together while the truth threatens to unravel everything. About the author: John Collins was raised in the mean streets of Sayville, NY where he never encountered monsters or ghouls but kind of wished that he had. With influences of 80’s Splatterpunk, low budget horror films, and loud music, his short fiction has appeared in Even in the Grave, Fear Forge, Soul Scream Antholozine and other anthologies. Ebb and Flow, the art of John Cino and Lisa Stanko, is the exhibit at the BAFFA Art Gallery in July. Exhibit hours are Noon to 4:00 PM weekends July 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26, with an artists’ reception on July 11 from 2 to 4 PM.The exhibit is free though donations are welcome.
