20 Displaced After Massive Apartment Complex Fire In Bohemia
The blaze was reported Monday morning.
BOHEMIA, NY - Over a dozen people were displaced after an apartment complex fire broke out in Bohemia Monday morning. The fire occurred at Fairfield Sunrise Gardens on Greenbriar Drive shortly after 4:30 a.m., Newsday reports.
Firefighters from nine departments responded and spent over an hour battling the blaze, according to the report.
No injuries were reported but many lost their homes due to the massive blaze. According to the NY Red Cross a total of 12 apartments were damaged, displacing 20 people.
