LIBBA President Receives DAR Conservation Award

On March 6th, 2011, Mr. William Lomnicki, President of the Long Island Beach Buggy Association (LIBBA) “Keepers of the Beach” was presented with a conservation award by the Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).   

Conservation National Chairman Julie Therloux and President General Merry Ann Thompson Wright of the DAR honored Mr. Lomnicki with a plaque and pin for his dedication to the preservation of the natural resources of our country.  This distinguished award was given to Mr. Lomnicki for his past and present work through LIBBA's conservation programs.  

In attendance were Jack Hawthone HODAR, Barbara Meszaros DAR, Kristine Smith DAR, Judy Hawthrone DAR, William Lomnicki LIBBA, Paul Noguier HODAR/LIBBA, Bea Noguier DAR/LIBBA and Sue Griffing DAR.
