Arrest Made In Sayville Assault
One man was arrested in connection with an assault Saturday that left an 18-year-old with a head injury, police said.
BOHEMIA, NY — An arrest was made on Tuesday in connection with a fight in Sayville this week, according to Suffolk police.
Luciano Derenzo, of Bohemia, 22, was charged with second-degree assault. He was scheduled for arraignment Wednesday.
The fight involved a group of men in their late teens and early 20s in the parking lot of Land's End on Brown's River Road at 12:55 a.m. Saturday, police said. An 18-year-old suffered a fractured skull and brain bleed, according to his family.
