B-BP District Puts Employee Contracts on Website

The Bayport-Blue Point School District has put every employee contract agreement on its public website for taxpayer access.

The most recent contract signed by the district is the new agreement with Dr. Vincent Butera, the newly hired school superintendent who starts the job December 1.

According to the signed agreement Butera will receive 25 vacation days, 18 sick days and five personal days and will contribute 25 percent to his dental and health plans. He is provided a $5,000 travel and expense line as well as a cell phone and laptop for school use.
