Bayport-Blue Point Heads Back to the Books

Bayport-Blue Point School District opened its doors to students and staff under sunny skies on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

From the youngest scholars entering their first year of elementary school to the high school Class of 2016 preparing for their final year in the district, the hallways were filed with renewed energy and enthusiasm for learning.

The 2015-2016 school year brought about several new initiatives in the district, including the launch of a new high school computer science program, additional courses in STEM at the high school and expanded authentic, real world experiences for grades 2-6.

The district extends its best wishes to all families and staff members for a successful year ahead.
