Bayport-Blue Point High's Class of 2015 Graduates

On the tree lined front lawn of the high school, the members of the Bayport-Blue Point High School Class of 2015 gathered in late June to celebrate their myriad of academic, athletic and co-curricular accomplishments.

During the event, student speakers Elizabeth Geoghan, Valedictorian Patrick Liu, Salutatorian Alexie Lessing and Class President Dylan Mittendorf reflected on their years in the district and shared their collective wishes for the class’s future. Additionally, Principal Dr. Gaurav Passi, Superintendent of School’s Dr. Vincent Butera and Board of Education President Rebecca Campbell encouraged the graduates to make the most of their futures and embrace the challenges that lie ahead.

Musical performances from the high school’s joint band and orchestra and senior chorus members added a personal touch to the ceremony and afforded the soon-to-be graduates the chance to showcase their collective talents one final time together.

Honor medallions were presented to members of the class who graduated with a GPA of at least 90% before each of the 185 graduates crossed the stage to receive their diplomas.
