Bayport-Blue Point HS Congratulates Accomplished Scholars
Four Bayport-Blue Point High School students were named Commended Students in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program.
SAYVILLE-BAYPORT, NY - From the Bayport-Blue Point School District: The Bayport-Blue Point School District would like to congratulate four Bayport-Blue Point High School students for being named Commended Students in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program based on their exceptional academic performance on the 2016 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying
Test.
The four recognized students, Ben Marantz, Antonio Martinez, Benjamin Papa and Kevin Polanish, are amongst 34,000 other high performers throughout the nation. Although they will not continue in the 2018 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, some Commended Students do become candidates for Special Scholarships sponsored by corporations and businesses.
