Bayport-Blue Point's 2025-26 School Budget Results Are In
See whether the Bayport-Blue Point School District's budget passed this year after residents across Long Island voted on Tuesday.
BAYPORT-BLUE POINT, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Bayport-Blue Point School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 797 yes votes to 319 no votes.
The district's budget is $89,147,050, up 3.8 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $$64,138,498, up $2,139,312.
There were three open seats for the Bayport-Blue Point Board of Education and John A. Sautter, Sandi Kanne and Brian Johnson were elected.

SEAT 1: A three-year term commencing July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2028 to succeed John Kroog:
- John A. Sautter: 679
- Robert McLaughlin: 247
- Adam Schneider: 57
SEAT 2: A three-year term commencing July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2028 to succeed Sandi Kanne:
