B-BP Students Celebrate Mom's Day With Literacy Message

In celebration of Mother’s Day, third-grade students in Nicole Greco’s
class at Academy Street Elementary School paid tribute to their mothers with a literacy celebration.

The students created personalized poems and fun quizzes about  their moms and a special coupon book for them to use at a later date. After carefully revising and editing their descriptive poems, the third-graders proudly shared them aloud during a class Mother’s Day Tea celebration just before this year’s holiday.

Each student’s mother sat proudly in the classroom to listen to the creative writing pieces before enjoying tea and a snack together.
