Blood Drive
The Connetquot Public Library will hosting a blood drive in the community room, run by the Long Island Blood Services, a division of the New York Blood Center on Friday, August 26 from 2:30-7:00pm The eligibility criteria is that donors must have valid ID, a minimum weight of 110 pounds, between the ages of 16 and 76 and no tattoos in the past 12 months. For more information concerning medical eligibility call 1-800-688-0900. Your donation will help save up to three lives. The library is located at 760 Ocean Avenue, Bohemia.
