Blue Point Elementary Artists Rewarded With Memorable Ride

The winners of this year’s fire safety poster contest at Blue Point Elementary School, which was sponsored by the Blue Point Fire Department, received a ride home from school to remember just before the Thanksgiving holiday.

The winners, three from each grade, were invited to board one of the departments fire trucks and travel through town to celebrate their award-winning designs, which urged peers to take care when it comes to a fire and the tips to remain safe.
