Blue Point Verizon Store Robbed At Gunpoint

BLUE POINT, NY – A Long Island Verizon store was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening.

According to Suffolk Police, a man armed with a gun entered the Verizon store located at 38 Montauk Highway in Blue Point at about 5:25 p.m. The man tied up an employee, stole cash and fled on foot, police said.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Fifth Squad detectives at 631-854-8552 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
