UPDATE: Driver Hurt After Car Crashes Into Blue Point Home
BREAKING: Three people were inside the home at the time, police say.

BLUE POINT, NY – A man suffered minor injuries after his car crashed into a Blue Point home Monday morning.
According to police, the man was driving a 2015 Hyundai east on Montauk Highway at 11:48 a.m. when a van attempted to cross over Montauk Highway from south to north on Division Avenue.
The Hyundai and van collided and the Hyundai then struck the home located at 45 Division Ave. There were three people in the house at the time. No one was injured, police said.

The driver of the Hyundai was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue for treatment of minor injuries. The male driver of the van refused medical attention and was issued a summonses for expired inspection and failure to yield.
