Academy Street Elementary School fourth-grade Peer Leaders collected more than $358 for the Friends of Karen charity organization as a result of a schoolwide spare change collection.
The Peer Leaders proudly made a presentation to the charity this April. Friends of Karen provides much needed support to critically ill children and their families.
